What is the reason for the cracks in the diamond grinding wheel?

1. Cracks appear when the machine is installed with one button at high speed

The newly installed diamond grinding wheel cutting disc is best rotated at high speed for 1 minute. Cracking occurs for two reasons. One is the quality problem of the diamond grinding wheel itself, and the other is the lack of linear shape of the cutting disc, which causes the rotation to crack.

2. Cracks appear during application

Some vitrified diamond grinding wheels are normal at high speeds, but cracks appear when the grinding wheel contacts the surface of the steel part. The root cause: the production of cutting pieces has poor flatness, uneven binder structure, or high strength and low ductility, all of which are the reasons for this situation.

What should I do if there is a crack in the diamond grinding wheel?

1. Control the strength of the grinding wheel. When producing and processing aluminum oxide ceramic plunger pumps, the rotation strength of the cutting disc is about 1 times higher than that of any ordinary laser cutting grinding wheel.

2. Strictly control the flatness of the cutting disc, and the error cannot exceed 0.3mm.

3. Due to the wide range of applications of cutting discs, the strength of cutting discs must be moderate to reduce cracking to a certain extent.
