After the marble is laid, it still needs to be treated with a caulking agent. Because marble is more expensive, many construction workers dare not caulk the marble for fear of ruining the effect of the marble paving. So, how should the marble caulk be used?
1. Wet the base surface of the wall with clean water first, and when there is no water on the surface, it can be used as an adhesive for construction.
2. After the marble is pasted within the specified time, slightly twist and rub the marble up and down when pasting, or tap lightly with a mallet to make the marble and the adhesive adhere closely.
3. Correct the joints between the level and the adjacent slabs. Note that 2mm or more joints should be reserved between the marbles.
4. Preliminarily clean the dirt attached to the surface of the board. After the marble has been pasted, the joint can be cleaned and filled after 3 days. When filling the joint, a special joint filler for artificial marble should be used.
5. After caulking, clean the caulking material and dirt attached to the surface of the board in time.
6. After the marble is laid, the protective film can be torn off after acceptance and cleaning.
7. It is recommended not to use traditional marble wet hanging construction.
