Although the diamond beaded wire saw has different structures depending on the application, the basic composition of the diamond beaded wire saw has been included. The sawing drive of the diamond beaded wire saw is based on the principle of pulley drive. When sawing, the ends are closed end to end. The beaded rope connected by this type is tensioned on the wheel train of the wire saw machine, and is driven by the driving wheel to perform high-speed unidirectional circular motion.
 
The diamond beaded segments (referred to as beads) fixed on the beaded rope are close to the surface to be sawed under the internal force of the beaded rope, and are driven by the beaded rope to realize high-speed sawing movement, while the diamond abrasive remains on the beaded surface. In this high-speed sawing movement, the material removal process of the workpiece surface is realized. Obviously, the sawing process of diamond beaded rope is completed by the diamond beaded rope directly involved in cutting and the corresponding mechanical equipment that drives the movement of the beaded rope, that is, the wire saw machine.


 
As a tool used in wire saw processing, diamond bead rope is composed of three parts: diamond bead, spacer and wire rope. Among them, the beads play a role in consolidating diamond abrasive grains during sawing to achieve effective processing. At present, there are three preparation methods of diamond microbeads: electroplating, sintering and brazing. In the actual production process, electroplating and hot pressing sintering are the main methods, and the latter dominates.
 
Spacer sleeves are used to isolate and hold adjacent beads at a fixed distance. There are three types of spacers commonly used in engineering: spring washer type, injection molding type and glue injection type. Among them, the spring washer type, because the grinding dust is easy to enter from the gap between the beads, the spring, and the washer during processing and abrades the steel wire rope, thereby causing the steel wire rope to break. Therefore, it was used in the early days. The isolation sleeves that are mainly used at present are the latter two.
