Diamond grinding wheels are extremely sharp. Various accidents frequently occur during use. Therefore, it is necessary to educate more people on proper operation to reduce the occurrence of accidents. Therefore, those who frequently use diamond grinding wheels should adhere to correct operating procedures.
1. After mounting the diamond grinding wheel onto the flange, it must undergo static balancing before use. Note: Do not arbitrarily remove the wheel from the flange before its service life expires.
2. Machine tools used with diamond grinding wheels should have excellent rigidity, a high-precision spindle (radial runout no greater than 0.01 mm), and micro-feed capabilities.
3. Use coolant whenever possible during grinding. This not only improves grinding efficiency and quality but also minimizes grinding wheel wear. Commonly used coolants include kerosene, light diesel, and light engine oil, with kerosene being preferred.
4. Operators should wear protective glasses and stand to the side or on an incline of the grinding wheel, never facing it directly.

5. When grinding, do not wrap the workpiece with cotton yarn or wear gloves to prevent gloves or cotton yarn from becoming entangled in the diamond grinding wheel and causing an accident.
6. Do not grind small, large, or difficult-to-handle workpieces on the grinder. Small workpieces must be held firmly to prevent them from being crushed by the diamond grinding wheel and damaging the machine.
7. During grinding, do not violently impact the tool or workpiece against the grinding wheel or apply excessive pressure.
8. Workpiece shapes may vary during machining, so use the appropriate grinding wheel to avoid unnecessary hazards.
