For processed veneer stone products, its quality can be identified from the following four aspects:

1. Observe the surface structure of the stone with the naked eye.

Generally speaking, stone with uniform fine-grained structure and fine texture is the best stone; stone with coarse-grained and unequal-grained structure has a poor appearance. In addition, due to the influence of geological processes, stone often produces some small cracks. Stones are most likely to crack along these sections and should be removed. As for the lack of edges and corners, it affects the appearance even more, so you should pay special attention when choosing.

2. Measure the size and specifications of the stone.

So as not to affect the splicing, or cause the patterns, patterns, and lines to deform after splicing, affecting the decorative effect.

3. Listen to the sound of stones hitting

Generally speaking, the knocking sound of good quality stone is crisp and pleasant; on the contrary, if there are slight cracks inside the stone or the contact between particles has become loose due to weathering, the knocking sound will be rough.

4. Use simple testing methods to check the quality of stone

A small drop of ink is usually placed on the back of the stone. If the ink disperses and leaches out quickly, it means that the particles inside the stone are loose or there are gaps, and the quality of the stone is not good. On the contrary, if the ink droplets do not move, it means that the texture of the stone is good.
