At present, diamond wire is widely used in granite, marble and other stone mining and processing and concrete cutting. What details should be noted when using diamond wire saw?

1. When using, straighten the wire and tighten it at 1-2 turns/m to effectively prevent eccentric wear, and then use hydraulic pliers and buckles to connect the wire saw into a closed loop. Before cutting, be sure to distinguish the direction of use of the wire saw, and never rotate it in the opposite direction for cutting.

2. The diamond wire saw should not stop for too long in the middle to prevent the rock cracks from blocking the beaded wire. Once the beaded wire is stuck, it should be solved as soon as possible. You can loosen the wire first, then pull it by hand, and solve it according to the on-site situation.

3. When cutting with a wire saw, it needs to be cooled. The amount of water can be adjusted according to the noise during cutting, the turbidity of the cooling water, etc. The amount of cooling water is not the more the better. Too much cooling water can easily affect the self-sharpening of the wire saw and make the wire saw slip; too little cooling water can easily make the beads heat up and affect the cutting life.

4. When cutting with a diamond wire saw, personnel are not allowed to walk around in the work area to prevent the wire from breaking and injuring people.

5. When cutting with a diamond wire saw, ensure the length of the wire in the work area to avoid being crushed by the guide rail.

6. When operating a diamond wire saw, the operator must wear a safety helmet, insulating boots, masks, protective glasses, etc.

7. Pay attention to ensuring the tension. If the tension is too small, the cutting speed is slow and the wire is easy to fall off; if the tension is too large, the wire saw will wear quickly and there is a risk of wire breaking at the connection.
