#1 When maintaining stone, do not rinse natural stone directly with water. Natural stone, like natural wood, is a breathable and porous material, so it is easy to absorb water or dissolve in water and be invaded and polluted. If the stone absorbs too much water and pollution, it will inevitably cause various stone damages. Such as: annoying problems such as yellow spots, water spots, white spots, and alkali. Therefore, stone should avoid using water or wet mops to clean the stone surface.

#2 When maintaining stone, do not contact non-neutral objects. All stones are afraid of acid and alkali. For example: acid often oxidizes the pyrite component in granite and produces yellowing. Acid can decompose the calcium carbonate contained in marble, causing surface corrosion. Alkali is also the raw ore that corrodes granite, feldspar and quartz silicate crystals, destroying the surface of the stone.

#3 When maintaining stone, do not wax the stone at will. There are many kinds of wax on the market, including water-based wax, stearic acid wax, oily wax, acrylic wax, etc. These waxes basically contain acidic and alkaline substances, which will not only clog the pores of the stone, but also form wax stains with dust, causing the surface of the stone to turn yellow.

#4 Do not use non-neutral detergents when maintaining stone. General detergents contain acid and alkalinity in pursuit of rapid cleaning effects. If cleaning products with unknown ingredients are used for a long time, the glossiness of the stone surface will be completely lost. The main reason for the residue is not neutral drugs, which can also cause the main cause of stone lesions.

#5 Do not cover the stone with carpets and debris for a long time when maintaining the stone. In order to keep the stone breathing smoothly, avoid carpets and debris covering the stone surface for a long time, otherwise the moisture under the stone cannot evaporate through the pores of the stone, and the stone will have annoying stone lesions due to excessive moisture and increased water content.
